Direct from Coates Taiyo, one of the most prolific red brood cows of the breed, IWG Ms 142 was the Supreme Champion Wagyu Female, Grand Champion Wagyu Heifer, Division Champion, and Class Winner at the 2015 World Beef Expo.
Sire: Westholme Hirashigetayaso Z278
Z278 is the product of the three elite Westholme bulls. His sire is the great ETJ001, whose sire, Dai 20 Hirashige, is one of the top 15 bulls in Japan. His dam is sired by ETJ003, who is out of a daughter of the high milk and meat trait bull, ETJ002.
Z278 has grown into a big bull that is balanced and correct. Reaching a weight of over 2,200 pounds with a frame score of 8, he has been used with great success on cows and donors all over the world including: Australia, North America, and Mexico. Z278 is one of the top carcass weight bulls in the 2014 Research EBV's and he's a trait leader in growth, milk, scrotal circumference, and EMA. He is currently being used as a sire of sons at Designer Wagyu and other leading programs, as well as having high contract interest for making embryos for export.
The only bull with semen for sale in the USA that is type BB for the GH Exon 5 Gene Type! Because of this trait, his offspring have the ability to increase carcass yields more than any other bull. Unborn sons of Z278 are currently being contracted for stud and semen for export.
